I want it to be the comic because that was so cool and it would be great to see it in the animation way! Or I would want it to start where the comic left of.

Yeah I kinda hope little AndrAIa comes back, maybe her Gamecube gets dropped in Mainframe again or something. I really just hopethey don't do a full-on relaunch though. Maybe they could do something like the new Star Trek, where they make some kind of alternate universe or something? Or hell, the net's a big place, just focus the story on a whole new system, and have the original cast make cameos

That would rock beyond belief...

It's pretty clear what many of the fans who have grown up with ReBoot will want: ReBoot continued, knowing what happened in Megabyte's hunt in the Principal Office. And not the webcomic; hopes were that it would show the hunt, but it skipped that for a cheap zombie appocalypse wanna-be.

The problem with continuing from where the season left off is that there's a whole host of viewers who will not know the background of the story as it has already been established, or the characters. Many won't care to look it all up over Wikipedia or watch it on Youtube, 'cause that would sure take up a lot of time that not a lot of people will want to spend that way.

What they -should- do is somewhat similar to what was done to Star Trek this past summer ('09), they should return somewhat to the series' roots to do what they can for both groups of people. They could have it take place around the same time as The Tearing, but not remake The Tearing; make something completely different that mirrors what has already been established. This would leave them room to expand on lots of ideas (that they should have, working off one idea is not how to write a story), that sticks to the original spirit of the show so many people loved (we loved it because it suited young children pretty well, my parents loved it for the computer jokes and total lask of swearing). Something like that is not too hard; unofficial fan writers have been doing something similar for years over the internet.

What they should NOT, under ANY circumstances do, is totally remake the show with a different spirit, different humour and different flow. Then it would be ReBoot in name and appearance only. Something you do not want to do to fans who have waited for something for such a long time too.

And, like Justice mentioned, actual worthwhile updates would sure be nice too. Everyone else does them; unless Rainmaker is just stalling for time and doesn't want to pull through on a project like this.

I want the ending of the story, obviously. But I also want to see the new Guardians being established. I'd like a Guardian Academy in Mainframe, doesn't Bob deserve that after all he's been through?

And Matrix and AndrAIa need to have at least one little binome. So do Bob and Dot.

Daemon can't be pwned, because she exploded already. But Megabyte disappeared and I'd like him found....

Personally if I could have my way I'd have ReBoot be like Star Trek too, where there's always a spinoff, and an INC to keep things....well, interesting.

I love ReBoot. Bought it off Ebay just so I could have it for all time. Don't make me give it up without giving me the rest of the story, darnit.
